Generate your own environmentally-safe
green power
Our solar electric systems allow you to
become your own miniature electrical utility. These products
of advanced technology collect the Sun's energy and convert
it into the same electricity as supplied by your local electrical
utility. When your home or business is equipped with one
of our systems, you will be slowing down your electricity
meter, or even turning it backwards,* when your personal
'solar utility' is producing more electricity than you are
using.
Our systems come in many sizes, from small residential to
large industrial. Solera Substainable Energies Company
is Canada's leader in grid-connected solar electric power.
For specific examples of Solera's creative
solutions, please see our Case Studies section, or fill
out the Request Form on this site.
* Some utility companies require a bi-directional meter
upgrade in their net metering policy, which would not result
in reversal of the meter. They track the production separately
and measure it against the consumption at billing period.
Power Security
Your life does not have to come to a stop
because of a utility power outage. Our systems often incorporate
an optional battery bank, that provides for short to mid-term
supply of standard 120/240V AC power for essential home
and business appliances.

The solar power for our systems
is provided by silicon based solar modules with world-leading
performance. Each of our products have technically superior
charactaristics that are designed for cost-efficient installation,
and to generate the maximum amount of power in the minimum
amount of surface area. Solar modules come with power output
warranties of 20-25 years.
These sealed, weather proof units contain photovoltaic cells
that convert the energy in visible sunlight directly to
electricity. With no moving parts, and service lifetimes
up to 40 years, they are the most reliable source of electricity
available.
Solar modules for grid-tied applications are offered in
sizes ranging from 130 watts to 480 watts per unit. Building-integrated
(BIPV) modules are also availabe for more advanced acrchitectural
endeavours.
